Once a street child with no hope, our founder Noel was given a chance—and it changed everything. Now, we as a team want to bring this hope by helping other underprivileged kids access education and rewrite their futures.

Meet The Team
Noel Mtolera
Director General
As the Founder and Director General of Student Light Tanzania, Noel leads with a deep, personal understanding of the challenges faced by impoverished children. Having once walked that difficult path himself, he now oversees the vision and strategy of the organization.
Saida Abdalah Kassimu
Chairperson of the Board
Saida brings wisdom, integrity, and a deep commitment to community upliftment in her role as Chairperson of the Board. She provides guidance and oversight to ensure Student Light remains accountable, impactful, and mission-driven.
Bella Danstan Ngure
Accountant
Bella is the trusted steward of our finances. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep sense of responsibility, she ensures that every donation is managed with integrity and transparency.
Jerry Sevume
Member
Jerry is an experienced lawyer with legal experience in children's rights, and is thus a passionate advocate of the initiative at Student Light. He provides crucial counsel and is also an integral member of the team.
Benjamin Andrew Mayengela
HR Officer
Benjamin leads our Human Resources with empathy, structure, and a deep belief in people. He ensures our team is supported, equipped, and aligned with our mission to serve underprivileged students.
Augustina Richard
Secretary
Augustina keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating meetings to managing communication and records, she ensures that every detail is in place. She supports the team’s work—helping us stay focused, organized, and ready to serve the children who rely on us.

Yoshua likewise brings a lot of insight, and unwavering support to the mission of Student Light. As a valued member of our team, he diligently contributes his ideas and perspective hence being an extremely valuable member of the team.
